With about three months to go until Election Day, the presidential campaigns seem to get more and more twisted up with celebrity culture. Today, we get to add the loveable crazy-fierce Tyra Banks to the mess.

The talk-show host/model mentor poses as Michelle Obama in this September’s Harper’s Bazaar and offers up advice on how to be a good first lady, like, “know how to take a fierce picture but at the same time be able to eat fried chicken.”

See, Tyra really does know everything from smiling with your eyes to representing the country.

And the crazy don’t stop there…

The best part of the photo spread is that mannequin Tyra is not the only faux-bama in the shoot, there’s also a fake Barack and fake offspring all looking glamorous in a fake White House because, as far as Bazaar is concerned, Obama’s already won. Or maybe they just want to show how pretty the Obamas would be as the first family.

Either way, it’s a weird concept that doesn’t quite work. Also, we’d like to know where’s the spread featuring Heidi Montag as Cindy McCain? If we’re (un)lucky, Speidi will probably provide that one for us all on their own next week.

In the end, the whole feature just reinforces the notion that you can never, ever have enough crazy Tyra quotes (the article is a goldmine), so here’s one more on what her Secret Service acronym would be if she were the real Michelle Obama: “KMFA: Kiss My Fat Ass.”

We’re so used to seeing starlets with little dogs that we’re not sure what to make of Chris Brown and his fluffy arm candy while shopping on Melrose Boulevard.

Granted, he’s toting the pup (and probably the purchases) for girlfriend Rihanna, but may we suggest something a little more manly next time—a rugged rescue perhaps?

Mitch Winehouse’s name is in the paper almost as much as his daughter’s these days. Looks like he wants to give her a run for her money on the airwaves, as well.

Amy Winehouse’s cab-driving, media-friendly father is set to guest host a one-off afternoon call-in radio show on BBC’s Radio London Sept. 1, filling in for the regular DJ who will be on vacation.

“Mitch has been a regular contributor to BBC London, calling into our phone-in shows,” the station’s assistant editor, Justin Kings, told the mothership.

“He always has something worthwhile to say and a good sense of humor. Although Mitch’s life is extraordinary because of Amy, he’s still a London dad and I think our listeners can relate to him in that way.”

The elder Winehouse knows from radio call-in programs—his go-to outlet to clear up rumors surrounding his troubled daughter.

The 57-year-old even disclosed to BBC Radio 1’s Newsbeat that he has grown perhaps too comfortable in the glare of the spotlight.

“I question my own motives sometimes,” he said. “Maybe I like the limelight a bit too much.”

Maybe it runs in the family.

‘It’s my secret,’ whispers Eva Mendes in her new advertising campaign. But what isn’t secret is her body - which has caused outrage across America.

Her 30-second advert for new perfume Secret Obsession has been banned by U.S. networks after being deemed far too racy for TV - because it shows a brief glimpse of Eva’s nipple.

In the black and white advert a mostly bare Eva rolls around seductively in an unmade bed. At one point the 34-year-old caresses herself, offering observant viewers the quick glimpse of her chest.

‘Between love and madness lies obsession,’ she whispers. ‘Love…madness. It’s my secret.’

Calvin Klein bosses don’t seem upset by the controversy, posting the advert on their website under the headline ‘Eva Mendes banned advert’.

‘This development is not entirely a surprise for the U.S. market,’ said Tom Murry, president and chief operating officer of Calvin Klein Inc.

‘We believe the commercial is exceptional and hits the mark for Secret Obsession. We will reach our consumers in the U.S. primarily through the Web site, the print campaign and at point of sale.

‘We are anticipating a very successful global launch.’

Eva previously exposed her body in the 2007 film We Own The Night. She told interviewers at the time she was horrified by what her father might think.

‘I told my dad. I said, ‘Dad, Poppy you cannot be there on time. Nobody can.’ It’s a tough one. I understand. It premiered in Cannes and I’m sitting there in the audience and I was like, “Oh my God, no that’s me. Oh my God, oh my God. That’s me. That’s my boob, that’s my boob.”‘

The show will go on, but under what circumstances?

E! News has confirmed that two of the four finalists who are preparing to get down as they’ve never gotten down before on this week’s So You Think You Can Dance finale were hospitalized over the weekend after collapsing during rehearsal.

It was reportedly the two remaining guys—Joshua Allen and Stephen “Twitch” Boss—who required medical care Saturday, according to Us Weekly. They were treated for dehydration and released the same day and are expected to be more than ready to partner up with and face off against Courtney Galiano and Katee Shean on Wednesday.

Fox has yet to issue a statement, but the beans were spilled when judge Mary Murphy told People last night at the 2008 Teen Choice Awards that two of the contestants were rushed to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center by ambulance on Saturday.

“The kids are completely dehydrated—two of them. I’m sure they’re doing a lot of blood work to see if there’s anything else,” the reliably talkative ballroom expert said.

Sunday rehearsals were called off, but everyone was expected to be back in leaping form by today. Courtney, Katee, Joshua and Twitch had been busting their fierce moves for at least 10 hours a day, a regimen that tires us out just writing about it.

“[The girls] could not rehearse as well, and so hopefully everybody is going to be in the same boat,” Murphy said. “Hopefully everybody will be refreshed by having a full day off.”

The fourth season of So You Think You Can Dance concludes this week with a live two-part, four-hour finale. After a lineup of special guests, previously dismissed contestants (surely Will Wingfield will have yet another moment in the spotlight) and a performance by the Jonas Brothers, a winner will be announced Thursday. source E News
