August 4, 2009 Beyoncé and Lady GaGa landed nine nominations apiece Tuesday to lead this year’s MTV Video Music Awards, which returns to Radio City Music Hall in on Sept. 13 after two years away. Beyoncé’s “Single Ladies” and GaGa’s “Poker Face” will take on “Womanizer” from – who scored a total of seven nominations – Eminem’s “We Made You” and ‘s “Love Lockdown” for video of the year honors. Eminem and West will duke it out for all four of their nominations, as the rappers are also each up for best hip-hop video, best special effects and best male video.
