The New York born rapper was just firing off shots on his state of the art digital SLR camera.
The 41-year-old is currently travelling the high seas with his wife aboard a luxury yacht.
And they’ve been recording all their boating capers for posterity.
Joining her husband at the exclusive Club 55 on the French Riviera, Beyonce stopped traffic in her eye-catching ensemble of tight batik print shorts, an embellished ikat-print shirt, leopard-print bikini top and bag.
While the combination may not be to everyone’s taste, individually, each piece is quite on-trend.
The ikat print is a summer favourite, and leopard print is set to be huge this autumn.
As for the shorts, this pair is unlike any we’ve ever seen. The clashing patterns are bold and brash, and as they are both tight and high-waisted, highly unforgiving. It is testament to the 28-year-old’s toned body that her curves still, somehow, look good.

Beyonce is glowing on the cover of Self’s September 2010 issue!
Here’s what the 28-year-old entertainer and philanthropist had to share:
On why she does charity work: “I’ve always felt that you should give because it’s what you can do to help. You don’t do it to get praised. For a long time, being quiet about what I did was a conscious decision. When you look around at all that’s wrong in the world, the need to do something, no matter how big or how small, is clear.”
On what motivates her: “Sisterhood means everything to me. All the charities I’m involved with are special, but I find any organization that focuses on women and children really motivating. GEMS and the young ladies the nonprofit helps are very close to my heart. And what I took away from the clients at Phoenix House changed my life. These were real people who touched me so much that I had to go beyond making a donation. They’re gaining skills at the Cosmetology Center, which will help them earn a living and find their way out of substance abuse—it’s a testament to the possibility of second chances.”
On how anyone can make a difference: “Think about what truly touches you and motivates you to help, then start locally. Once it’s in your heart to give, you’ll have to follow through. I am a happy woman—very happy—because I know that I’ve worked hard, and I love being able to give back.”
It’s gearing up to be the show of the year as Beyonce rolls into London on Monday with the I Am… Sasha Fierce tour.
But in a credit crunch value for money special, Beyonce will be bringing her talented sister Solange along too – to perform at the post-show after-parties.
And by all accounts, it should prove the bargain of the year.
Heavily influenced by Motown girl-groups such as The Supremes and The Marvelettes,
it is her idea of a ‘sweet, soulful record’ that harks back to an era when pop was less provocative.
A multi-talented performer, Solange has developed into a notable singer, songwriter and actress, with some fantastic achievements already under her belt.
Solange, co-wrote Beyonce’s Get Me Bodied and Upgrade You from her B-Day album, Love Off for Kelly Rowland’s Ms Kelly and Michelle Williams’s club smash We Break The Dawn.
For her own recordings she has taken inspiration from The Supremes, The Marvelettes, Dusty Springfield and Minnie Riperton, with an ambition to make the music they did in the 60′s and 70′s now with a modern touch.
Her album Sol-Angel & The Hadley Street Dreams also includes collaborations with the likes of Pharrell, Jack Slash, The Boards Of Canada, Mark Ronson, Q-Tip, Raphael Saddiq and the legendary Lamont Dozier.

Beyoncé’s dream of winning an Oscar helps keep her in shape.
She actually has a painting in her gym featuring the iconic gold statuette so she can run toward her goal. “I look at it, and I’m like, OK, I have to stay in shape,” she explains in the new issue of Self magazine.
That’s not her only motivator…
Shopping also comes in handy. “I buy something too small and then say, ‘I have a reason,’” the 27-year-old singer says. “I need to wear these jeans or this hot dress.”
And then there are the tiny Thierry Mugler costumes she’s been squeezing into for her tour. “ do a fitting and see that my costume doesn’t fit anymore,” Beyoncé says. “I know I have to keep things in all the right places.”
But she’ll only lose so much weight. She wasn’t happy about the 15 pounds she shed to play Deena Jones in Dreamgirls.
“I felt very chic, like a model,” she says of her thinner-than-ever bod. “But it didn’t look natural for me. I didn’t feel very sexy or feminine, and I didn’t have much confidence because I didn’t feel like myself.”
In other words, don’t expect to find her running too much toward that Oscar.
She might be playing tourist, but Beyoncé stays stylish with her jeweled white Valentino bag while seeing the sights in Europe.
Beyonce Knowles is nearly as well known for her Bootylicious curves as she is for her singing voice.
So it was somewhat uncharacteristic of the singer to be covered up on the beach.
Enjoying a dip in the Mediterranean during a short break in Monaco during her European tour, the usually-confident star appeared to have come over all shy.
Walking on to the beach at a members’ club in Monaco, the 27-year-old covered up her green bikini with an oversized men’s shirt.
Joining her entourage in the surf, Beyonce looked boiling hot as she enjoyed the sunshine, but declined to take off her shirt.
Despite Beyonce’s apparent shyness, her body is in tip-top good condition after embarking on her world I Am… tour in March.
After her last gig in Gothenburg, Sweden on Monday, Beyonce jetted to Monte Carlo for a two days of relaxation before returning to Scandinavia for her next gig.

She said: ‘My priorities are slowly changing. So after this tour, I might be tired and want to take two years off.
‘I’ve worked hard enough to be able to do that. I’m in a very good place.’
Once the tour is ended, Beyonce is hoping to spend some quality time with her husband, rapper/producer Jay-Z, who she married quietly in April 2008.
She told Marie Claire magazine: ‘We try to sync our calendars. I started working on my tour a year ago just to make sure that I had time at home.’

Beyoncé tries a Russian soldier’s hat on for size during a photo opp in front of the remains of the Berlin Wall in the German city’s Potsdamer Platz square on Friday. The singer – who’s trekking through Europe on her “I AM…” tour – has also been busy taking in the sights.
Calling all the single ladies…
Beyoncé Knowles has (finally) announced the U.S. leg of her North American “I Am…” world tour on her website.
The metal glove-wearing kicks off at New York City’s Madison Square Garden on June 21 and will wind down with a four-night residency at Encore at Wynn in Las Vegas.
The concerts, which were created to back up the star’s hit album, I Am…Sasha Fierce, features an all-female band and a hefty, 71-costume wardrobe designed by Thierry Mugler. Fans can also expect some funky masks and unlikely covers (Sarah McLachlan, anyone?)
Tickets go on sale to the general public on April 25 (April 20 for fan club members). Additionally, at every venue but Vegas, the fiercely sweet star is making 2,000 seats available for a recession-friendly $20. Continue
Beyonce made certain to pull out all the stops as her I Am… Sasha Fierce tour opened in Vancouver, Canada last night.
The pop diva took to the air after strapping herself into a harness to fly above the crowd during the first night of her new tour.
But for once the super-confident all-round entertainer looked a little bit ill at ease.
Low flying object: Beyonce flies Superheroine style through the air but doesn’t look completely at ease at the Vancouver leg of her I Am Sasha Fierce tour
Beyonce, 27, slipped into a harness and was hoisted high into the air, but she appeared a little wobbly as she revealed a whole lot of leg in a short gold costume teamed with high heeled black patent shoes.
The singer, who is married to rapper Jay Z, has expressed a wish to be the first black Wonder Woman.
And likened landing the role to the election of Barack Obama, whose campaign she backed. She recently revealed she has met executives at DC Comics and Warner Brothers, who own the rights to the iconic figure. Continue
