Lewis Hamilton makes a triumphant return to England (and brings his adoring Pussycat home with him)

Lewis Hamilton returned home to a hero’s welcome today as his doting girlfriend Nicole Scherzinger looked on.

The Formula One World Champion, 23, was greeted by McLaren staff as he made a triumphant return to the McLaren Technology Centre today.

Pussycat Dolls singer Scherzinger - dressed in Hamilton’s team colours - was on hand to cheer him on.

During his appearance, McLaren chief Ron Dennis promised Hamilton an ultra-rare version of the McLaren F1 super car, the LM, if he wins a three three championships.

Hamilton has reportedly been smitten with the vehicle, built to celebrate the McLaren F1 GTR’s which won at Le Mans in 1995, since the first time laid eyes on one ten years ago.

He was handed a toy model for the meantime.

During his address, Hamilton declared his loyalty to McLaren.

‘I want to see my career through with this team,’ said Lewis. ‘So that’s my plan.’

‘I’m in the team I’ve always dreamt of driving with, and when you’re living your dream and you’ve got the car you want to have why are you going to change?’

His comments come after Eddie Irvine suggested Hamilton would be better off joining Ferrari.

Earlier his 30-year-old girlfriend publicly declared her love for him in a gushing YouTube tribute.

The star joined Hamilton’s family in Sao Paulo on Sunday to watch the racing driver clinch the fifth spot in the Brazilian Grand Prix, making him the world champion.

In the 40-second YouTube video, Scherzinger addresses her beau of seven months and urges Pussycat Dolls fans to find out about Formula One.

She said: ‘I’m so excited I feel like I’m on top of the world right now.

‘Why? Because I want to congratulate my boyfriend Lewis Hamilton for being the official Formula One world champion!

Her gushing tribute on YouTube comes just as the Pussycat Dolls unveil their sexy lingerie collection for La Senza.

Entitled Shhh… By Robin Antin (the woman behind the Dolls), the bras, knickers and corsets are inspired by the burlesque-style wardrobe of the Don’t Cha stars.
