Amy Winehouse Nixes Divorce Rumors

Author: Autor  //  Category: Amy Winehouse, Featured

Though she’s had a very public battle with drug abuse and alcoholism, Amy Winehouse still isn’t ready to clean up her act.  And early this morning she was spotted meandering around town following an all-night bender.

The “You Know I’m No Good” songstress spent Monday night at the Hawley Arms pub in the Camden district of London, finally leaving around 4am.  From there, she headed over to pal Blake Wood’s house before checking out her old home and returning to her current address early this morning.

Blake leaves jail and checks straight into rehab… but Amy is too busy throwing a tantrum to greet him

Author: Autor  //  Category: Amy Winehouse

Amy Winehouse’s husband was released from jail yesterday after almost a year behind bars for his part in a vicious assault on a pub landlord.

Blake Fielder-Civil left Edmonds Hill prison in Suffolk at 8am looking pale and with his arms covered in red scars.

The 26-year-old, who has fought a long battle with drug addiction, was not due to be released until next month but was freed after agreeing to attend rehab.

Miss Winehouse herself was not there to meet him, leading to rumours of a rift between the pair.

Winehouse, who left hospital on Monday after receiving ongoing treatment for a ‘chest infection’, looked far from jubilant as she emerged from the residence at 4pm this afternoon with make-up smeared across her face.

She appeared to be in an agitated state, lunging at a photographer stationed outside her home shouting: ‘Who’s first? Who wants some?’.

She refused to comment on her husband’s release. Read more…

Amy Winehouse Dad to Host Radio Show

Author: Autor  //  Category: Amy Winehouse

Mitch Winehouse’s name is in the paper almost as much as his daughter’s these days. Looks like he wants to give her a run for her money on the airwaves, as well.

Amy Winehouse’s cab-driving, media-friendly father is set to guest host a one-off afternoon call-in radio show on BBC’s Radio London Sept. 1, filling in for the regular DJ who will be on vacation.

“Mitch has been a regular contributor to BBC London, calling into our phone-in shows,” the station’s assistant editor, Justin Kings, told the mothership.

“He always has something worthwhile to say and a good sense of humor. Although Mitch’s life is extraordinary because of Amy, he’s still a London dad and I think our listeners can relate to him in that way.”

The elder Winehouse knows from radio call-in programs—his go-to outlet to clear up rumors surrounding his troubled daughter.

The 57-year-old even disclosed to BBC Radio 1’s Newsbeat that he has grown perhaps too comfortable in the glare of the spotlight.

“I question my own motives sometimes,” he said. “Maybe I like the limelight a bit too much.”

Maybe it runs in the family.

Amy Collapsed After Medication Mix-up

Author: Autor  //  Category: Amy Winehouse

Amy Winehouse was discharged from hospital this morning after receiving emergency treatment for a adverse reaction to ‘medication’.

A spokeswoman for University College Hospital, where the singer spent the night, said she was ushered out via a private exit shortly after 9.45am.

She was said to be in good spirits after a ‘comfortable night’.

The spokeswoman said: ‘Our doctors decided to keep her overnight for observation. She had a comfortable night and will be discharged today.’

Emergency: Ambulance crews wheeled Amy Winehouse out of her Camden home last night in a stretcher after she had a ‘fit’

Concerned: Amy’s father Mitch Winehouse watched on as she was piled into an ambulance
Her release comes less than 24 hours after she was stretchered out of her Camden home and rushed to A&E.

The singer was seen being wheeled out of her north London home just after 8.40pm by paramedics, her beleaguered father Mitch Winehouse watching on.

Paramedics had been called by Mitch after Winehouse reportedly collapse after suffering an episode of ‘fitting’.

Her father blamed the scare on a mistake with her prescription pills, saying: ‘She’s fine, she just mixed up her medication.’

Her spokesman Chris Goodman added in a statement: ‘Amy Winehouse suffered a reaction to medication at home this evening and was taken to hospital.’

A squad of police arrived as Amy was shielded her singer friend Remi Nicole and her father, as well as the paramedics who were in attendance, with only her bare feet exposed as she sat slumped in the wheelchair.

New and Improved Amy Winehouse Available in Wax

Author: Autor  //  Category: Amy Winehouse

Madame Tussauds gave us a rare glimpse at what Amy Winehouse might look like if she were to stop using and abusing.

The famed wax museum unveiled this model of the punch happy singer today. Amy couldn’t be present for this prestigious honor, because she’s most likely too busy mourning the sentencing of her one true love for all eternity, Blake Fielder-Civil.

But that didn’t stop her parents from showing up. After all, what’s a Winehouse story without a quote from her good ol’ pop, Mitch? And the word from Mitch: “Yeah, it’s great. We just said we’re going to take this one home with us and send the real one back.”

Well, we can’t really blame him.

Amy Winehouse’s Husband to Stay in Jail

Author: Autor  //  Category: Amy Winehouse, Celebrity Gossip

Amy Winehouse’s husband Blake Fielder-Civil will stay in jail until Christmas, a London judge ruled Monday.

Fielder-Civil received a 27-month sentence after pleading guilty June 5 to charges of assault and perverting the course of justice. Prisoners serve half their sentences, and Fielder-Civil has already served 254 days (about 9 months).

Blake’s lawyer Kate Anderson told reporters, “We are disappointed with the length of the sentence and are giving serious consideration to an appeal.”

Winehouse was not in London’s Snaresbrook Crown Court during the ruling, but his mother, Georgette Civil, was. As her son was about to be sentenced, she buried her head in her hands.

“Don’t worry,” he mouthed to her across the court.

At first, his mother let out a gasp of joy – and Fielder-Civil hugged his co-defendant Michael Brown – when they mistakenly thought the judge was releasing him to a private drug treatment program, as his lawyer had suggested. They were crestfallen when the judge went on to sentence him to further time in jail.

“You behaved in a gratuitous, cowardly and disgraceful way,” Judge David Radford told Fielder-Civil.

“I think he got the maximum,” Georgette Civil told reporters afterward. “I can’t even talk about it.” Earlier, she was heard crying to a friend: “He’s not going to be out until December.”

Fielder-Civil’s best friend Sophie Schandorff sobbed as she paced outside the court, speaking on her mobile phone.

When Fielder-Civil is released in December, Winehouse will be waiting for him – at least according to Fielder-Civil’s other lawyer, Jeremy Dein.

“It is their ambition to divorce themselves from hard drugs and not separate from each other,” Dein told the court. He argued that Fielder-Civil had committed his crimes in a state “befuddled by drugs and alcohol” and that he’d taken cocaine and was “drinking heavily.” Dein recommended that his client be released and sent to a private drug treatment program, but the judge pointed out that treatment would still be an option upon release.)

Fielder-Civil wants to stay off drugs and “be a role model for Miss Winehouse,” Dein said. “He knows that if he fails, then an appointment with calamity waits not just for himself but for his wife. It will be impossible for her to alienate herself from drugs if he continues to befriend them.”

Ban Amy from seeing my Blake or they’ll both die, begs Fielder Civil’s mother in extraordinary plea to judge

Author: Autor  //  Category: Amy Winehouse, Celebrity Gossip

Amy Winehouse’s jailed husband could finally be free tomorrow - but his desperate parents reportedly want him banned from seeing his troubled wife.

In an extraordinary move, Giles and Georgette Civil have apparently written to a crown court judge, pleading for him to order Blake to stay at the family home.

The 26-year-old is due to be sentenced for helping beat up a pub landlord and then offering him a £200,000 bribe to buy his silence.

Troubled couple: Blake Fielder Civil (right) could be released from jail tomorrow but his parents want him kept away from his wife Amy Winehouse

After being behind bars for several months, it is expected he could walk free from court

In an emotional interview with The News of the World, Mrs Civil, 45, said: ‘Amy thinks Blake will be freed on Monday but it’s not good news.

‘I’m absolutely dreading it because I don’t want him to go straight back to Amy.

‘If he goes it could be a death sentence for the two of them.

‘Blake thinks he’s going to be Amy’s saviour and has every intention to try to stop the drugs.

‘But Amy is completely unstable.

‘Blake is a recovering addict and he’s not strong enough to resist the temptation.

‘If they are reunited, I know they will be back on drugs within days.

‘The dealers will swarm round Blake and Amy.

‘They are meal tickets for the dealers.

At war: Blake’s mother Georgette Civil claims that Amy is a bad influence and her son could die if he goes back to live with his wife

‘Then the police will get called, Blake will be arrested and sent back to prison.

‘I also fear that if Blake and Amy lock themselves in a hotel room there is a real danger they will take a drugs overdose.

‘Giving him and Amy another chance is like putting a gun to Blake’s head while playing Russian roulette.

‘Once he is with Amy, he won’t even be allowed to take my phone calls.

‘I will have lost him to drugs.

‘I believe Amy would rather die with Blake than not have him.

‘I don’t want my son to die with her or without her but I fear Amy will whisk Blake away from us and we won’t get him back.’

The family want Blake to stay with them at their Lincolnshire home away from the drug-fuelled excesses of his wife’s London lifestyle.

‘I want Blake free but I want him in an environment that is safe - without Amy,’ she said.

‘We want the judge to send Blake home to be with his parents, brothers and grandparents.

‘I know if he goes home to me instead of her, Amy will go berserk.

‘But what she needs is tough love.

‘Amy should get herself back into rehab and stay there as long as is necessary to get her off drugs.

‘She needs to prove that she loves him enough to stop.

‘Then, once they are both free, they can have a life together.’

Blake pleaded guilty to causing James King grievous bodily harm in June, 2006, and then perverting the course of justice in November last year.

The court heard how he had attempted to bribe his victim, telling him the £200,000 pay-off would not only buy his silence but pay for him to quietly disappear abroad and stay there until the trial had been abandoned.

But the plot backfired when middle men Anthony Kelly and James Kennedy contacted a national newspaper.

Michael Brown, 25, from Carshalton, Surrey, admitted the same charges.

Kelly, also 25, of Chalk Farm, north London, and Kennedy, 19, who lives in Hatfield, Hertfordshire, pleaded guilty to perverting the course of justice.

Fielder-Civil’s 36-year-old victim, who suffered a fractured

cheekbone in the attack, faced the same charge until he explained to jurors an ‘intimidating’ Kelly left him ‘no option’ but withdraw his evidence and save his attackers from jail.

During her husband’s incarceration, Amy has veered from one car crash moment to the next.

But despite her chaotic lifestyle and shambolic performances, she has continued to pledge her love for Blake.

Amy’s father Mitch, 57, continued to insist it was in Blake who was responsible for leading his daughter astray.

‘Everyone knows that - apart from Blake’s mum and dad.’
