Nicole Kidman Makes a Post-Baby Outing

Author: Autor  //  Category: Nicole Kidman

Just four days after giving birth to daughter Sunday Rose, Nicole Kidman was spotted having lunch with two friends at Bread and Company in Nashville on Friday.

Casually dressed in a denim jacket, Kidman ate chicken salad while laughing and talking with her friends. Observers tell source that the new mom looked happy and well rested.

“She looked amazing,” noted one diner, “relaxed and glowing and surprisingly fresh-faced for a new mom. Motherhood really suits her well.”

Kidman, 41, and her husband, country singer Keith Urban, 40, welcomed their daughter on Monday at a Nashville hospital.

This is the first sighting of Kidman since giving birth. Her mother Janelle and sister Antonia flew into Nashville on Saturday for an extended vacation to help welcome the newest addition to the Kidman-Urban family. According to the new parents, however, help might not be necessary. “We feel immensely blessed and grateful to be given this beautiful baby girl,” the happy couple stated

Taylor Swift Tears Up Over Nicole & Keith Baby News

Author: Autor  //  Category: Nicole Kidman

Sunday Rose Kidman Urban is only a day old – but she’s already a superstar in the country music world.

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban welcomed the newborn Monday morning in Nashville. And ever since then, their famous friends have been quick to offer up congratulations.

Taylor Swift was vacationing in Hawaii when she got the news, and she excitedly took to her blog. “Even just thinking about it now, I’m tearing up because I’m so happy for them,” she wrote on her MySpace page.

The country phenom added that Kidman and Urban – both Aussie imports – have been welcome additions to the Nashville scene.

“They’re such incredible people,” she gushed. “Nicole Kidman came to Nashville and treated everyone with grace and respect, and has always been so humble. I’m overjoyed for them.”

American Idol’s Michael Johns was also thrilled for the new parents when people broke the news to him.

“That’s awesome!” he enthused Monday before the A.I. tour stop at the L.A. Staples Center. (The Australian native has become fast friends with the superstar twosome.)

“They’re genuinely a happy couple – it’s not a Hollywood thing,” he said. “They really, really do love each other. So anytime a baby can be born into that situation, it’s pretty cool.”

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban Welcome a Baby Girl

Author: Autor  //  Category: Nicole Kidman

Nicole Kidman and her husband, Keith Urban, have welcomed their first child together, a daughter, born Monday morning in Nashville, people has confirmed.

The pregnancy was first announced in January. Kidman has two other children with her former husband Tom Cruise: Isabella, 15, and Connor, 13.

In the days leading up to the birth, the couple – who celebrated their second wedding anniversary on June 25 – didn’t stray from their normal routine in and around Nashville, where they reside in a gated community.

From early morning stops at a local Starbucks for warm drinks to a little sweat at the gym later in the day (Kidman was a regular at spin and yoga classes during her pregnancy), the couple remained low-key.

“She’s never been happier and healthier,” says a close family friend. “She is absolutely radiant and enjoying nesting and homemaking with Keith at their new home in Nashville.”

But getting ready for their baby was a priority. Urban admitted he was learning a new vocabulary for fatherhood and doing Lamaze lessons. “He doesn’t know the name [of the classes], but he has been very good at it!” Kidman told a local radio station on June 24.

The new parents also bought a couple of books to help them along: Pocket Dad: Everyday Wisdom and Your Pregnancy, Week By Week.

“The unknown excites me a lot,” Urban told reporters in May. “What kind of feelings will fatherhood bring? I’m sure I can’t even imagine, but I am really looking forward to finding out.”

Keith Urban: Nicole Kidman Is ‘Very, VERY Pregnant’

Author: Autor  //  Category: Nicole Kidman

Keith Urban joined pal Kenny Chesney for a hometown concert in Nashville Saturday, and hinted to the crowd of nearly 50,000 that he expects to be a dad soon – very, very soon.

“I’m going to dedicate a song to my very, very, very, very, VERY pregnant wife!” Urban said with a laugh, before singing his hit, “Better Half.”

His real-life better half, Nicole Kidman, wasn’t far away. Kidman, dressed in a brown crinkled silk dress with her hair worn loose and curly, slipped backstage at Nashville’s LP Field just after Urban began his hour-long set.

“Well, we’re home, Nashville,” a buoyant Urban yelled to the screaming crowd during the concert, before wishing them a happy Fourth of July, telling them, “We were blowing things up last night!”

Urban and Kidman spent the previous evening at pal Ronnie Dunn’s house for the Brooks & Dunn singer’s annual July 4 party that features a homemade fireworks show.

There was speculation that Urban might join headliner Kenny Chesney. Instead, the singer left the stage after his set to join his wife. The two walked hand-in-hand, pausing briefly to wave to the crowd, to a waiting golf cart that whisked them away.

Keith Urban’s Big Birthday Sing-A-Long for Nicole Kidman

Author: Autor  //  Category: Nicole Kidman

Talk about a surprise party.

After Keith Urban sang “Who Wouldn’t Wanna Be Me” for pregnant wife Nicole Kidman, the country star announced to the Chicago Soldier Field crowd Saturday night that she just had a birthday the day before.

“So it would be nice to have 50,000 people sing ‘Happy Birthday’ to her,” he said – and brought Kidman on stage for a stadium-sized sing-a-long for the actress, who turned 41 on Friday.

A surprised and glowing Kidman, in a long flowing black floral tank top dress, blew the audience a kiss and returned backstage when the song finished. The couple are awaiting the birth of their first child, due any day.

Nicole Kidman Celebrates Her 41st Birthday

Author: Autor  //  Category: Nicole Kidman

As she marks her 41st birthday on Friday, Nicole Kidman is enjoying every minute of her life in Nashville and is eagerly awaiting the birth of her first child with hubby Keith Urban, a close pal tells people.

“She’s never been happier or healthier,” the friend says. “She is absolutely radiant and enjoying nesting and homemaking with Keith at their new home in Nashville.”

The special day began early, with the birthday girl and Urban making one of their regular stops at the local Starbucks.

The couple also mark their second wedding anniversary on June 25. And, by all accounts, the expectant actress has been enjoying a leisurely last few weeks before the birth of their child next month. “They are so relaxed,” the friend adds.

Kidman and Urban, 40, made a brief trip to New York last week, where they took in an evening performance of the Tony-winning August: Osage County at the Music Box Theatre – and eschewed any special, VIP treatment for the three-and-a-half-hour show.

“Nicole is always very gracious, and she doesn’t run from people,” a source says. “She looked wonderful, and they seemed very happy.” The pair did, however, dodge paparazzi waiting outside.

Closer to home in Tennessee, the couple lives a seemingly normal life: they’re regulars at their local Starbucks, take in movies on the weekends (they just saw You Don’t Mess with the Zohan), tend to their organic vegetable garden and work out together.

“She’s very nurturing,” says Australia cinematographer Mandy Walker. Kidman stars opposite Hugh Jackman in the Baz Luhrmann epic due for release in November. “She’s really lovely.”
